The Heaton Group, a leading property developer based in Wigan, approached NJ Cleaning over two years ago to help maintain the cleanliness and presentation of their growing property portfolio. Their projects demand consistently high standards, not only to meet client expectations but also to reflect the quality and professionalism of their brand.
When The Heaton Group began work on The Cotton Works, a major restoration project transforming a historic mill into a vibrant space offering serviced offices, co-working areas, and a pub amongst many other exciting things, they needed a cleaning partner who could support them through both the construction phase and the operational launch of the building.
Key requirements included:
- Flexible cleaning during restoration works to keep the site presentable and safe.
- Adapting services as different areas of the building came into use.
- Ensuring the finished spaces were spotless and ready to welcome businesses and visitors.
The Solution
As a trusted, local cleaning contractor, NJ Cleaning worked closely with The Heaton Group’s team throughout the project. Our solutions included:
- Daily cleaning of The Feast
- Daily cleaning of The Three Mills
- Twice weekly cleaning of the Heaton Group Head office
- Daily Cleaning of the site cabins during construction
- Daily cleaning of the Mill One communal areas
- Window cleaning to the three Mills
- Washroom and Feminine Hygiene Services to Mill One
Once Tenants start to move in, we will also be providing daily office cleaning to tenants offices, and window cleaning to Mill One.
Being a Wigan-based business ourselves, we understood the significance of this landmark project for the local area, and we made it our mission to help showcase the building at its very best.
