Why professional cleaning in schools matters more than ever.
Nurseries, schools and colleges are more than just buildings, they’re hubs of learning, growth, and community. With hundreds (or even thousands) of students and staff passing through the doors each day, maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment is essential.
At NJ Cleaning, we understand that education settings require more than a surface-level clean. That’s why we tailor our services to meet the unique challenges that schools face, helping you stay compliant, infection-safe, and welcoming for everyone who walks through the doors.
Meeting OFSTED Standards and exceeding them
When it comes to inspections, cleanliness matters. A spotless school sends a strong message about safety, care, and professionalism. Our team ensures every area, from classrooms and corridors to canteens and washrooms, meets the highest hygiene standards required by OFSTED.
We don’t just tick boxes. We help create spaces that both staff and students can be proud of.
Infection control that’s built in
With large numbers of people sharing spaces daily, infection prevention is non-negotiable. Our staff are trained in best practices for infection control, using professional-grade products and procedures to minimise the spread of germs, especially in high-touch areas.
Whether it’s flu season, cold outbreaks, or general wellbeing, we help keep your staff and students healthy and present.
Flexible scheduling that fits around the school day
We know that school life is busy and that cleaning can’t get in the way. That’s why we offer flexible cleaning hours to suit your schedule, whether it’s early morning, after-school, or during holidays.
Need one-off deep cleans before term starts? Or consistent daily maintenance? We’ve got you covered.
A trusted local team
Letting people into your school is a matter of trust. We’re proud to be a Wigan-based, family-run business, and every member of our team is professional, reliable, fully trained and enhanced DBS certified.
