Join a Local Company with Big Values and the “NJ Way”
At NJ Cleaning, we’re more than just a cleaning company. We’re a family-run, Wigan based business with a mission to make a difference for our clients, our community, and most importantly, our people.
If you’re thinking about a career in cleaning or looking for a company where you’re valued and supported, here’s why NJ Cleaning could be the perfect fit.
A family business with a big heart
Founded by Neil Johnson, NJ Cleaning has grown from a small local business into a trusted name across Wigan and Greater Manchester. We’ve stayed true to our roots, building a workplace where people matter, relationships are strong, and everyone is treated with respect.
When you join NJ Cleaning, you’re not just another number. You’re part of a team that knows your name, values your work, and wants to see you thrive.
Our Company Values: The ‘NJ Way
Everything we do is guided by what we call the ‘NJ Way’ the set of principles that shapes how we treat our people, our clients, and our community:
• People Matter – We look after our team so they can look after our clients.
• First-Class Service – We take pride in delivering high standards every day.
• Always Professional – From our branded uniforms to our training, professionalism is at our core.
• Inspiring Culture – We’re positive, supportive, and always looking for ways to grow together.
This isn’t just a slogan on a wall. It’s the way we work, day in, day out.
Training, Support & Growth
Many of our team members start as cleaners and grow into new roles. With ongoing training, health & safety support, and real opportunities to progress, we give you the tools to build a career – not just a job.
Flexibility that works for you
We know that life doesn’t run on a 9–5. That’s why we offer flexible hours that fit around your lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for early mornings, evenings, or school-time shifts, we’ll do our best to work with you.
Proudly local, proudly community-focused
We’re based in Hindley, Wigan – and we’re proud to support our local community. From providing free cleaning services for charities like The Brick, to sponsoring local initiatives, our team knows their work makes a difference beyond the job.
